Today we continued learning about penguins. After reading The Emperor's Egg again, we built eggs out of kinetic sand. T said, "Look I made an egg." Then G said, "You made a penguin egg!" Some decided to get in the nest with the wooden eggs while watching birds or penguins projected on the wall. At the light table, S looked at the "I am Small" book while M built an ice home for the penguins to live. We also scooped black eyed peas in the sensory table and built nests out of wooden blocks.
