Underwear Tuesday

 Our underwear week is progressing. We have had a few children come and tell us they need to potty. This a great step. We will still continue to have all children sit on the potty throughout the day. We scooped, poured and played with beans in the classroom. With so many children going successfully on the potty this morning, we were able to take a short walk to our favorite climbing bush! Keep up the great potty work at home.

Underwear Monday

 With everyone in underwear today, we stayed in the classroom for the morning. Everyone is pro at pulling down their pants and washing their hands. We are still working on taking off pants and putting them back on after an accident. The kids are changing themselves including their shoes. We have had multiple exciting discussions and play that spontaneously includes potties. There was a pretend potty on the fire truck (treehouse). Everyone excitedly shared how many potties they have at home and if anyone had a potty in the basement at home. Keep up the work at home. They are doing great.

Drinking extra water so we can have more experience on the potty.

Pajama Day!!

 PJ Fort Day!!!  The children had a great day today!  They loved the forts and the flashlights.  We watched a Daniel Tiger Video about going on the potty!!! We are gearing up for MONDAY 29th, which is underwear day!!!   We did not forget! We hope you didn't either. Bring Extra clothes if you are a new underwear wearer!! 

While we spend time on the potty, we are also focusing on learning independence, self regulation, and social skills.  We practice and encourage manners, including others in play, and waiting our own turn.
