Leap Day!

                                                     We were very busy indoors today. 

                                      Having fun with V on her last day, we will miss her!!

We had an early Friday Dance Party on Thursday so she could dance with her wish ribbon one more time!  Guess what song she requested?

Numbers

 As part of preparing for next year, we are continuing to discuss and interact with numbers. We go over identification and counting. 

This activity hits math, cognitive, language, social emotional and physical.  There are 72 dimensions we are responsible to present, teach and know. All to move the children forward in their growth.  

As we continue to learn about crosswalks and how to transform our world for the better, we took a walk around the campus and checked out all the bird houses.  At one point we saw a bird fly into the house!  Then it flew out!

Crosswalks and Sensory

 As the weather continues to get warmer, we are continuing to dive deeper into our question of the year, which is, How might we transform our world for the better? We have read several books on how important trees are to our world.  We have also been reading stories on butterflies and the importance of crosswalks. All of these things improve our world for the better.  At some point in the near future,  the children will vote on which direction, and topic we will finish out the year studying.
