The Acorns have been loving working in the garden and there has been lots of talk of all the lovely signs of spring we’ve been seeing, so we decided it was a good time to switch out some of our books for more springtime and gardening books. The first book we looked at as a class was “Jack’s Garden,” which was the inspiration for the Acorns drawing their own garden pictures.
After that, we were happy to get back in the swing of things with Walking Wednesday. We went down to the sculpture park, had a snack, and played on the bird. I love going to the sculpture park because the Acorns are always so eager to encourage and help one another, and it is so great being able to see their kindness and helpfulness in action. 😃 They are truly an amazing group of kids! Have a wonderful evening!
