The sun was out and the Acorns love it! We enjoyed the morning outside as we looked at the birds at our bird feeder. When we came inside, there were new invitations to explore.

Today the Acorns were surprised to see a large bird outside our window. We got out the binoculars for a closer look and tried to determine if it was a hawk. Eventually the large bird flew away and we prepared for capers. Acorns continue to explore colors and made pink water for the sensory table. Acorns constructed silly creations with orange playdough and drew with many different colors of pens.
Today the question was and will be for the upcoming days.... What connects two sidewalks?
Today we got in the swing of things..... We went over our rules and agreements and continued with our morning routine. By the end of our meeting time, everyone was comfortable again showing everyone their booboos. We celebrated another Acorn turning 3!!! Happy Birthday T!
Acorns capered with nearby classrooms this morning. In the Acorn Room, we continued exploring the color orange. We poured orange water into the sensory table, made creations with orange play dough and colored with crayons. We also looked for orange in the magic sand.
Now that we have been able to take walks again, after many days of practicing, we walked to Downtown WG! As we were walking, we decided to take the Acorns to secret spots. We walked through the pedestrian alley, and then we had snack at a secret bridge. While we were sitting and eating snack, the garage door opened underneath us..... then a car drove under us.
