The acorns are continuing to do a great job in the mornings. We make choices in the Seedling Room, have breakfast, and then head over to acorn to do morning potties/diapers. We are working on getting everyone to sit on and use the potty. Some of us have begun to sit and not go..... we are slowly making progress.We are also working on everyone having their mask on and nose covered. It is definitely better than last week, but we still have work to do. Along with starting to encourage going on the potty, we have been working on, self-regulation and self-help. All of which is intertwined with one another.
We spend most of our time outdoors. Today we had loose parts so that the children could work on loose part self portraits. We brought out the sticks we collected yesterday on the way back from the train, and painted with water and wet chalk. We created a "train" and every car had a "phone/camera" ready for the passenger. We also had the sand area and water available for sensory exploration.
