We have been reading the book, “The Climbing Tree” during our morning meetings. This week we noticed more Acorns climbing the Forest Climbing Tree. They pretend to be the moon or the sun high in the sky. We wonder if one day our trees that we planted for Arbor Day are going to turn into climbing trees.
With the Acorns all delivered, we have moved toward shapes, colors and bugs. Today we mixed a few colors. The children have been making orange, green and purple at the overhead projector with the colored shapes all week. So, we are taking it a step further with spin art. Today we used red and blue.
Another Acorn is THREE! Happy Birthday M!
We capered this morning and prepared for an early pickup. Ambrose is closing at 1:25pm today due to predicted severe weather.
