Hello Acorn Families! It was a fantastic day, we are so happy to be back to school and spending time with our new friends. We spent most of the day learning new routines, schedules and each others names. We drop off in the kid kitchen where I have a few things set up ready for them to explore after we wash our hands.
Once everyone arrives, we clean up and head to the Acorn Room where we washed again, and got ready for Breakfast! Once that was over we talked about wanting a mask break. Everyone in the classroom has a little hand towel, and if they need a break, they take it to their spot and are able to sit and breath without the mask. There are a few picture of us practicing a mask break.... We then explored the classroom, we built in the block area, the treehouse became a ship, the scales were busy measuring the office area was busy with phones and clipboards. All and all it was a great first day of school.
