Rainy Forest Day

 Oh we were so sad that the last forest day was a rain out.  We tried to go..... and then a storm hit! So, we went back inside made forts and played with the flashlights.  The rain stopped! We went for a walk...... there were a TON of puddles....  Some of us kept our shoes dry, some of us did not. Everyone took their shoes off for nap.  So, they may need to get some clean socks and shoes today when they get home.  They Loved stomping through those puddles!!

After lunch we were treated to Kona ICE!!!

CAPS FOR SALE!!!

 F- brought in the book Caps for Sale!!!!! Thank you soooooo much!  They knew they looked like the monkeys in the tree. HA! You can not pull one over on the Acorns. They are getting so smart and so BIG.  

Today, we walked to our favorite bush before the rain.  We showed the children the monkeys in the tree and then a picture of them in the tree. They crack me up!  We may have a few bumps and tiny scrapes from the tree because we now show our legs.....nothing to warrant an incident report, as some of the scrapes and bumps didn't look new...  It eventually started to rain, so we headed back to school in the mist.

Last Tuesday!!

 The Acorns had a great day, we got out the last of the playdough, we worked with scissors and paper and we cleaned out and scrubbed the sensory table.  THEY LOVED IT!!!  We then went to visit our favorite bush before the end of the year.  When they are all climbing in the bush, it reminds me of Caps for Sale!!!

I have looked everywhere for my book Caps for Sale!  I cant find it anywhere.....

Don't forget the Friday is a half day!!!

Last MONDAY!!!

 Today we sent home our Self Portrait Celebrations and our Symbol Book.  If you did not pick yours up today, we will have it for you in the morning whenever we see you.   We cut with scissors, colored paper, had the phones and the tree house open this morning. We then went for a walk to the sculpture park and hunted for rollie pollies, had manets on the metal sculpture and climbed on the bird.  Oh and of course we had snack. We had a great last Monday!!!

Dance Party Friday

 We had a great time today at the dance party, the train was also a hit! Other happenings, we had soapy water, we made watches, and the children wanted to do the magna tiles!  The children worked on the cover for their book My Symbols, and then we went outside and searched for bugs, and played hide and seek.
