Today we celebrated our last Acorn Birthday. I cannot believe how much the children have grown. They are ready for their next adventure.

Sensory Day

         We had a great sensory day today!! There was slime, gak, cloud dough, rye and water.

Another Birthday!

 Thank goodness we went out early this morning,  we had a few minutes of exploring water day before everything got washed out.  We then came inside and after our morning routine, we celebrated another Acorn Birthday.

Last Full Friday!

 

Acorns enjoyed our last full day Friday with an awesome dance party!

The last week of school activities-

Monday: Water Day! (weather permitting) The Seecorns will explore various water activities and Acorns will celebrate a birthday.

Tuesday: Sensory Day! The Seecorns will experiment with messy fun and the Acorns will celebrate a summer birthday.

Wednesday: Celebrate the Joy- School closes at 4pm.

Thursday: Final Forest Day!

Friday: Farewell Party for Dee Dee and Sandy's Retirement with donut holes. School early release- 11:15am.

Forest Day

           Thomas is doing great! T-2 has survived one day without being attacked by anything!! We will happily go check on him next week.

T-2

 Today, my husband came to help us plant another Thomas.  We put chicken wire EVERYWHERE! So, hopefully that will help our little acorn.  We live in the neighborhood, so we will keep an eye on T-2 over the summer and remove the chicken wire when we feel it is time. Then we will hand over the job to Kelly! lol  

We then went on a walk to all my favorite places. We went to the secret bridges, we saw 2 trains at the same time!!  It was a lovely day in the sunshine.

Caper Day

 During Caper Day today, we had a time lapse video of a monarch caterpillar go through part of their life cycle. We also had a few sensory bins open and around and ways to make new colors out of primary colors.
