Thankful

While we were doing invitations this morning, we discussed being thankful.  Most were thankful for Mom and Dad, some were thankful for their brothers.  Others were thankful for DeeDee and Kelly.  But I have to say the one that made me smile, was some were thankful for Mr. Kevin.  Since he walks us to the forest and walks with us around the neighborhood, Kelly and I are both thankful for Mr. Kevin.  We hope everyone has a safe and happy holiday.

Monday Before a Holiday

Today we explored the gack, magic sand, sensory table, shape playdough, storytelling with circle square triangle. The children must have had a very busy weekend.  They all seemed very tired.  We will have a Pajama day tomorrow and talk about what we are thankful for. 

When we were outside, we worked together and the children helped put our hexagons away along with the bridge and the tunnel.  Look at them working together.....

Another Cold Day

Unfortunately today’s weather kept us inside again. The Acorns had a lot of wiggles this morning so we created an obstacle course focusing on shapes. Acorns crawled through a triangle, over a rectangle, and under a circle table. Then they climbed up the rectangle steps to the treehouse, crawled through the circle tunnel and slid down the slide. They walked on a bench and carefully jumped off. After the obstacle we scooped cornmeal into the funnels at the sensory table and explored animals and textures at the light table.
