We start our day off the same way everyday. We sing the welcome song, we wish you well song, and then we go over agreements and read a story. On Fridays we add a dance party! Once we finished our Friday morning routine, we went to the BIG PLAYSCAPE to check out the swing. The Acorns LOVED the Big Playscape.
We had a great morning exploring inside and out. Everyone is doing great with the quick drop offs and the children are starting to play with each other. We set up the bird feeder the other day, and the children had a great time watching the birds.
Today we walked to see the Bear at the Forest. We follow Kelly, stay on the sidewalk, I am an acorn, I love school! Friends stopped to pick up acorns, sticks and pinecones (which they call acorns).

The BIG plan for today was to get the bird feeder out and set up so that we might look at the birds form the Acorn windows. Once that was completed, we explored the playscape, and the classroom. Some of the children are starting to engage with each other, which is nice considering it is only day 6.
A few Reminders - The Acorn Cubbies are outside in the MAIN HALLWAY. Your child's name is on the cubby you are to put items in.
