Gift Drop at the Firestation!!

What a wonderful day to walk to the firestation.  THe seedlings decided to join us, as they are studying fire stations, it became the perfect match up!
 N-walking down W. Lockwood....
We see a TRAIN in while we were near the bank.
We stood by the tree so, M could pick two friends to go with him to meet a fire fighter.

The fire fighter was so happy that the fire truck made the list for a gift from the Acorns.

The fire fighters asked us our names and what school we are from.... of course we said we were from the acorn school......

 Everyone got a sticker!!!
Then, they invited us to see the engine!!

 We then, got HATS!!!

What a wonderful day...

Collaboratory Pathways

Today some friends went to the Collaboratory to create pathways with the blue blocks and create pathways on the ball wall.

Friends worked together to fit the blocks together creating one long path.

Webster Kirkwood Times

Today the Webster Kirkwood Times followed us as we did a gift drop to the city/bi state bus and to Straub's, the mac and cheese store. Mr.Jim was the reporter and he brought his photographer with him.  He asked the children about the gifts and why they wanted to place them in and around the wg.

While we were out, we were lucky enough to see two trains!!!

Here they are trying to figure out how to attach the gift to the city bus.

We waited for our friends to return for dropping off a gift and a TRAIN appeared!!!

Here we are waiting for friends to  deliver a gift to Straubs.

 Mr. Jim
Here Mr. Jim is asking T why he wanted to drop a gift off at the city bus.  "I did it"

After we got back to our school, the children made a few choices and got ready for lunch.

It was a very busy day.....
