Happy Birthday Kelly!

 Kelly had a fantastic start to her Birthday Weekend THANKS to all the Acorn Families!!  You all are the best!

Other happenings.... We continue to do sink and float at the sensory table, we made letter prints with playdough, had birds with the mad matter, and built a tree at the light table.  For gross motor we made an obstacle course in acorn and the children crawled, climbed and jumped their way through the room.  We also had races in the hallway to burn off some energy.

Caper Day

                               It was too cold for us to head outside to the forest, so we had caper day!  It was good for the children to explore other spaces and walk around a bit more. After we capered we ran in the hallway, we crawled, we tried to skip and then we had to get ready for lunch.

Happy Wednesday

 We hope everyone had safe and happy Snow Days! Now that we are back, we had very busy day.  We had snow and acorns in the sensory table, we read How Does A Seed Sprout, we had kinetic sand and painting.  Other happenings were playing with The Wild Acorn, the magnets at the light table and of course books and treehouse.

We Wish You Well

 We had a milk and cookie party for M for her last day at as an Acorn.  We hope we see you around the neighborhood.  We are going to miss your smile and your happy energy.  We wish you well.
