"Pinecone Soup"

Today friends explored the mud kitchen that is over on the hillside. Friends worked together to cook and serve up some food to us and their friends. Some friends were making cupcakes and other friends cooked up some "pinecone soup." Friends also worked on some fine motor skills by squirting squirt bottles and painting with water.

Train! Train! Train!

 We walked to our train viewing spot and had an amazing TRAIN viewing DAY!!! We saw three trains!  It was an amazing walk!

 The seedlings joined us on our walk.

 We cheered when we saw our first train. We were very excited.

 We then saw a bus!

 We stopped and did some yoga while waiting for the next train.

"Snail House"

We started our morning together with a little bit of yoga! Friends worked on balancing through the different poses and following along. We then headed back over the hillside to see the snail. Friends explored in and around the snail for a bit and then one friend suggested playing hide and seek and most friends joined in for a large game. 

Friends also explored some musical instruments that friends from a different class brought outside. We talked about the different sounds that they heard and sang many songs like jingle bells and old macdonald had a farm together while friend's played.  

         

 

  

Fun Fast Monday!

 After our morning frolic with the Seedlings, we explored the great outdoors and then, we continued our exploration of our school.

 Today in the mud kitchen we made cereal.

 We then, went to the GYM and explored the sensory area.  We had to take our shoes off.  Which made everyone very happy. Our shoes went into cubby's and then, we explored the tunnel, the climbing wall, and the rockers.
