Terrific Tuesday!!

 The children had a great day!!  They are ALL changing their own pull ups and dressing themselves!!! Including socks and shoes.  We hope everyone keeps up the great work over break!!  We are soooo proud of them!!!! 

We also wanted to thank you for the special treats and that we are lucky to have such thoughtful families.  We hope you enjoyed the animoto video and we will see you in the New Year!!

Happy Monday!!

 Baby it's cold outside......so the Acorns had indoor fun!  We made hot chocolate and had cookies for morning snack, we explored the dried up oobleck, the sensory table, the train, some loose parts and worked on our symbols with Ms. Susan.  This time with the symbols, we showed them our symbol drawings, reviewed their symbols individually with each child and had them draw a new symbol.  

TOMORROW is PJ DAY and bonfire with Ms. Lauren!!! So, WARM PJS please!!

Indoor Friday

We played with so much in the classroom today. We got out Oobleck (cornstarch and water). Susan took small groups around the building to look at all the doors. After the trips to find doors, we turned off the lights in the classroom and got out the flashlights.

Muddy Forest Thursday

 In the forest, we revisited the play of an ice cream shop and a train, though this time we went to the North Pole. We also went to Grandpa and Susan's house in the forest and rode motorcycles. A large puddle in the middle of the forest was exciting for jumping in and poking and stirring with sticks.

Tuesday, December 21: Pajama Day! Wear warm two piece pajamas for our last day before break. We will still go outside in our pajamas.

And Walking Wednesday as well

After we played in the room while everyone went potty, we spent the rest of our morning outside. We walked to our climbing bush. We also walked by some construction today. We spent a long time playing and climbing in our bush today. We did so well on our walk, we stopped by to see the chickens before heading back to school.
