Caper Day

 Today we had our second caper day!  The children have the option to leave the room and explore the other three in our wing.

Snake makes Shapes

Today we voted between Red and Yellow.  Which color should we paint next so that we can make snake longer.

Exploring the Forest

Acorns love their Forest. They enjoy their morning snack on the tarp at the Forest. They love running into the Forest and on its path. Today the Acorns discovered two new structures by the bird house. We walked around and explored. We are trying to figure out what they are and what they do.

TRAIN!!!

                  We were lucky enough to go on a walk today.  Guess what we saw!!  A TRAIN!!

 

We received a trampoline yesterday from our School OT! We are preparing for WINTER.

We put the poppers out and started attaching them underneath the table.

Caper Tuesday

Capering is a time when we block off our hallway with a gate, then we open up ALL four classrooms in our wing, Acorn, Seedling, Oak and Maple.  The children choose where they want to explore and what Language they want to study.  This week, the languages are Construction, Shadow and Light, Clay and Color.  We were surprised at the amount of acorns that left the acorn room to explore in the other rooms. Way to go Acorns!  

FYI-  Drop off today was fantastic!!! Way to go parents!!!  The children calmed down quickly and engaged in play with others, it was the best day!
