Third Day of Week One!

As you know,  transitions can be hard for the little ones you drop off with us every morning.  We ease them into school, with snuggles and reassurance that mommy's and daddy's all come back. You are all doing a great job being quick to drop off and we appreciate you!  We want to assure everyone that the children are doing a great job, exploring new environments, eating, drinking and napping.

Today, we practiced our Fire Drill Routine.  I made the loud sound, we lined up, counted the children and followed Ms. Kelly to our safe spot outside on the big playscape,  the children did a wonderful job, as you will see in the photos below.

Once the fire drill was over, we went for a longer walk to see the chickens, and then we had a quick snack before heading back to school.

Some of our Professional Development revolves around Conscious Discipline (CD.) If you are interested in learning more about CD, you can follow them on instagram for short, easy tid bits to try or to think about trying.

When we are out and about, we make a bowl with our shirt for our goldfish!!

We are going to the forest for the first time Thursday morning, please apply bug spray, and the grass is usually wet, so boots may be helpful.
