Acorns

             Today we added acorns to our branch....again.... this time now one picked them off!  We also had our normal Friday Dance Party! Other happenings included, train, playdough, tent with flashlights and books.  We were very busy.

24 Days in the COLD

The Viable Acorns have been in the refrigerator for 24 Days. Today we checked to see if they were still moist.  We checked the dirt and then added a little water. We then put "leaves" on our "tree".  We are going to plan a few fun things for the next 2 weeks, since we have not be able to enjoy the great outdoors.

The leaves were created by the children a few weeks ago while painting with watercolors. Now they are leaves. We will try to add the unviable acorns to the tree again..... if you remember, after we glued all the acorns onto the branch, one friend removed all the acorns and put them back into the bin.

Snowy Day

We started the day off by reading Snowy Day and asking the children if they ate Turkey.  Some children did eat the turkey!!  Well done Acorns.  I am hoping that everyone gets home safely today with the current weather. 

 Today we introduced their names and scrabble letters today.  The children are supposed to match their letters with their names.  Well done.
