Today we were surprised with Flowers from the little acorns, we also received lovely notes from some of you. We are truly grateful and lucky to have such caring families in the acorn room.
We spent some time in the morning playing on the blacktop, we then came in and did our morning routine. Once we finished with that we had choices, and then headed our looking for our friend the owl that we saw last week on Jefferson.

What do bugs and shapes have in common? Today we walked around the neighborhood looking for the answer to that question. We saw a LOT of shapes and numbers as we walked around town, but we did not see any bugs or bugs making shapes. We returned to school and explored but prints, bug shapes, and drawing shapes. We will continue to explore how bugs and shapes connect, I just think we need to wait a few days for everything to dry out so that we might find bugs.
