Winter

 We had a lovely morning reconnecting, talking about adventures and boo boos.  We are working on getting back into routines and procedures. So, we stuck to our usual flow of the day, singing our morning song, and reading.  We then had several new things to explore- snow, treehouse, floam, polar bears and penguins. We started celebrating half birthdays for those Acorns that have summer bdays. Today was a child with an A! Check out the photos to find out who it is.  It was wonderful to get back to work. Lovely Day Back

We’re so happy to see the Acorns back at school! We reviewed our procedures and returned to our school routines- way to go Acorns! Since it was too cold to go to the Forest, we had small groups, with some of the Acorns going to the gym to play with children in other classrooms. Small groups also explored new choices that were created over break. Some of our new choices include polar bears and penguins at the light table, new floam, and translucent materials.
