Washing Hands

While doing all the things..... we focused on making bubbles while washing our hands.  We do this by rubbing our hands together.  With flu/covid/rsv season around the corner, we are trying to stay ahead of the game and learn how to properly wash our hands.  We watched a video of a women scrubbing and making bubbles with her soap! We then practiced!  O- was the first to make bubbles while washing.... Way to go Acorns!

Getting into the Swing!

 After our short morning outside, I am thrilled to say all the children were engaged and tear free!!! YAY!! Way to go Seecorns!!

We then came inside and did our morning hello song, and read a short story.  The surprising thing is.....it's only the second day!!

A- has renamed the tree house as the Apple Tree House.  Thanks A we love the change. 

O- decided the Apple Tree House was a bussy and that we needed to go for a ride and sing the song.

F- Would like a lovey for naptime, but was happy he got a flashlight, as all the children did before lights out.

We all explored the classroom today with phones, legos, magnets and the sensory table.  Everyone had a wonderful day. The Acorns were extremely happy to have chicken sandwiches and fries for lunch. They gobbled it up!!

First Day

 Hello Acorn Families-

We were very busy this morning exploring the outdoors, and in.   Everyone settled, and had a good morning.  We had chicken nuggets for lunch, so that was good.  Everyone either went on the potty, or was changed and cleaned. Now, the children are all resting on their cots. The room is dark, cozy and cool.... perfect for naptime.
