gift drop and forest day

Our first stop this morning was to the bus stop to replenish the gifts there.

We then headed to the forest! We created forets and friends continued their camp fire from last week.

Friends also checked to make sure that our gift to the forest was still there.

Gift Drop!!

So, we dropped a gift off at Bell's house this morning! We were so lucky that she
 was outside to accept it!

We then, walked to Williams Tree House to drop a gift.  They kept asking William if we could go in the yard and put it inside the treehouse.  We all finally agreed to leave it on the fence.

We then headed to our next stop, The Webster Kirkwood Times!

We then, walked to check to see if the bus and train gifts were still there. The bus and the train. Meghan and CI went to check and count how many gifts were at the bus.
When they came back to us, they told us only 3 gifts were there, we asked the children how many gifts they put in the tin, they answered TC five, so MP said we need to talk two gifts back to the bus.

Happy Monday!

The acorns were very bust today....
Hudson Harmonies came and sang to us, we then made clay beads, painted new pathway pieces and have an area dedicated to numbers.....

They boys are looking at an old adding machine and some old calculators.
 Tree cookie pathway.

Look at mine! It's all blue!
Here they are finding the letters of their own names.... and Starting to say the first sound....KKKK

 Painting new path pieces.

 gift fun
 Hudson Harmony's
They invited us to dance with them......

After lunch, we walked around the block and talked about all the gifts we still have in our possession. What should we do with all those gifts?
N- thinks we should give one to Bell, cause we love her so much (the dog that is out when we walk by the house on the corner).
CI- Thinks we should give one to Williams Tree House ( it is a tree house we see when we walk around the block, it has a sign on it saying Williams Tree House)  The children of course think it belongs to our WA, funny how they never ask him if we can go in his tree house..... I asked the children if they wanted to give a gift to Mr. Jim (the writed from the Webster/Kirkwood Times, and they said that they did.  So tomorrow we will be doing several gift drops.

Gift Check at Jets

After lunch on Thursday, we walked to Jets for a gift check.

On the way we saw a Robin in the grass and had to stop and take a look.

They found the bird facinating....we watched it for a long time.... I wonder if they know that birds eat worms??? Do you think they have made the connection that the worms in our room that they LOVE and care for are food for something else?

We would never burst their bubble and tell them that the worms are bird food.  They are only 2-3 years old once in their life.  Let the magic of discovery stay alive.....

We then continued on our journey to Jet's,
We talked about how we behave inside the store.

They have a loooong red bench just calling our to the acorns to come sit on.....
G- went to the counter to ask her friend Katie if she could see the gift and show her friends it is still at Jet's Pizza.
